Our fantastic Christmas day veg box is packed full of all the best local, seasonal organic veg available, ideal for your Christmas dinner and beyond.  With a good mix of seasonal fruit, nuts and dates it is a great way for you and your family to experience a truly organic Christmas.

ORGANIC KELLYBRONZE TURKEYS

Our turkeys are reared by the Kelly family based at Danbury in Essex. They have been producing award winning turkeys for over 30 years.  With good old fashioned flavour and texture the KellyBronze is bred to provide the ultimate Christmas dining experience.  The turkeys are slow grown to maturity over several months and are able to roam freely over pasture, stubble fields and woodland.  They are fed organic feed without the use of additives, drugs or growth promoters and are GM free. They are hung for at least 14 days to provide an even fuller flavour.   If you really want to celebrate Christmas in style there is no better bird for your table.

We will endevour to supply you with a turkey as close to your ordered weight as possible although due to the natural way the birds are raised there may be variations of up to 500g.

ORGANIC PORK & BEEF

SAUSAGES / SAUSAGE MEAT / GAMMON

All our sausages and pork products are hand made by the butchers at Ashlyns farm.  They are made from at least 75% organic pork and are flavoured with Ashlyns very own seasoning mix, all wrapped in a natural hog casing.  The best tasting sausages around and a wonderful addition to your Christmas dinner.

ORGANIC BEEF

Our Organic beef comes from Ashlyns very own herd of Lincolnshire reds, or from other local organic cattle farms.  The cattle are reared on a diet of organic feed and allowed to roam across the fertile west Essex pastures. These animals are cared for to the very highest animal welfare standards.  All our beef is hung for at least 21 days to ensure that the flavour of the meat is second to none.

LOCAL FREE RANGE TURKEY, GOOSE AND OTHER FESTIVE MEATS
We are delighted to also be offering fantastic free range turkey and Goose this year, along with a selection of the best quality local meat we could find.  Although NOT ORGANIC, our local selection of meats has been produced by small regional producers who really care about their animals.  We have the best selection of Turkey, Goose, Chicken, Pork, Beef and Lamb available and can also provide a full butchery service on any special cuts of meat you may require.  If there is anything you can not see here or on our order page please give us a call

Our Turkey's are reared by Julie & Jonathan at Great Garnetts farm in the village of Barnston, near Great Dunmow, Essex.  These birds have been allowed to roam the farms pastures and are fed on a GM free diet.  They are slow grown and are reared to full maturity, not to size.

PITFIELD ORGANIC BEERS

What better way to celebrate Christmas than with our range of great tasting organic beers, ales and lagers. All our beers are brewed next door to us on Ashlyns Organic farm by the master brewers at Pitfield brewery.  These beers have a wonderful flavour and are brewed using traditional methods.  The beers come in 3 or 6 bottle grates and you can order any mix you like

Whether it's chestnuts to add to your brussel sprouts and stuffing or a lovely bowl of mixed nuts to finish off the day we can provide a great organic alternative to those supermarket packs that are usually flown half way round the world to get to us.
