Ordering from us
Ordering from us could not be easier.  Just choose what type and size of box you want and pick any extra items you fancy.  You can then either place an order online using this web site and we will contact you to arrange delivery and payment or you can email us or ring us directly to place an order.

Minimum orders
Our minimum order is £7.50 for packed boxes or £10.00 for items ordered from our extras list.  This includes free delivery to our current delivery area.

Orders
Most of our customers like to have a weekly or fortnightly delivery from us.  The benefit to them is that they don’t have to remember to order a box every week, plus they are guaranteed our tasty organic veg box delivered to their door.  The benefit to us is that we can give our farmers regular projections of what we need so they can plan their end better.

Why not give us a go!
We do recognise that some new customers want to try us out before starting a regular order with us.  In fact new customers sometimes try out two or three different size and type of box before they settle on what suits them best.  As such we are happy to supply a trial box for new customers, so there is even more reason to give us a go! 

Order changes
You can of course change the size, type and variety of your box to suit your lifestyle (dinner parties, school holidays, Kids back from university, BBQ’s, Sunday lunches, etc) whenever you want.  We just ask that you get your order changes in to us by our order deadline (see below).

Order deadlines
Please have any order changes or cancellations to us by Tuesday morning.

Late cancellations
Unfortunately, we can not normally re-use produce in boxes that are cancelled after our order deadline, therefore if we receive cancellations after 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon there is an order cancellation charge of 50% of the order value. If the order is already out for delivery then full payment of the order is required.

Deliveries
Our delivery team will ensure the produce reaches you in perfect condition. We will even carry it to your kitchen if you require.

Delivery day & time
Our delivery days vary depending on where you live, but are usually made at the end of the week so you have our lovely organic produce in time for the weekend.  If you want to see our current delivery days then check out our "where do we deliver" page.  Unfortunately we can not guarantee a specific delivery time, but as our round is fairly regular we should be able to give you some idea.   We can let you know this when you place your order.  We will normally deliver your box at the same time every week, so once you’ve had your 1st delivery you will know when it will normally be.

Not at home?
Many of our customers are at work or out when we call.  If you are out when we deliver, we will leave the box by your front door or in a pre arranged safe place.  Please contact us to arrange this.  In the event of it raining we will ensure it is covered.

What to do with your empty boxes
We recycle all our boxes, so please leave the old one out for our driver to collect when he delivers your new one.

Payment
You can pay by debit or credit card via our secure website area, or over the phone when you order your box, then payment can be taken in this way for your orders in the future. Alternatively cash and cheque are fine too, ideally payable when your produce is delivered.  Please make cheques payable to Home Larder Ltd.
If you are out when the delivery takes place we normally require payment in advance. Please call us to discuss any payment questions ( 0800231 6364 ). We can even collect payment from a neighbour by prior arrangement.

Quality and service
We are dedicated to providing great quality, competitively priced organic produce, delivered to you with the best service possible.

Box contents
We cannot guarantee that the box contents will be exactly as published in our “weekly box contents list” and we reserve the right to change any item without prior notice.

Produce quality
We try to ensure that all the produce we supply to you is as fresh and as tasty as possible.  Unfortunately sub-standard produce does very occasionally slip through.  If this happens please refer to “our quality guarantee”

Our quality guarantee
If you are unhappy with the quality of any of the produce we supply please tell us and we will either replace the item free of charge in your next box or credit your account to the value of the item.

We are always striving to improve the quality of our service to you and welcome any comments from our customers. If you are not happy with something we have done please tell us so we can put it right, If you are happy with us, please tell your friends so they can enjoy our great tasting organic boxes as well.
