We are delighted to offer a great range of fantastic tasting, locally sourced organically reared meat including beef, pork, lamb and chicken.

Our organic meat producers
We have strived to find producers who constantly obtain the best tasting meat, along with the highest welfare standards for their animals.  All our meat comes from local award winning farms and below you will find a little information on two of them.

Ashlyns organic farm - Essex
Our Organic beef is mainly reared at Ahslyns Organic farm in the heart of the Essex countryside Ashlyns beef all comes from their herd of red horn cows and is raised on the lush grazing pastures of the mid Essex plains.  All our beef is, where necessary hung for at least 21 days to maximise its flavour.

Longwood organic farm - Suffolk
Our lamb and pork come from Longwood farm.  It is one of the longest established organic meat producers in the area. They have been breeding, rearing and marketing Soil Association registered meats since 1990.   From 2007 they have been following the strict code of practice and guidelines set down by the Organic Food Federation, which enforces its high standards by a programme of spot inspections, plus an annual inspection to ensure absolute compliance over land management and livestock husbandry.

How to order
Ordering is easy, simply choose what you want from our organic meat price list and place an order. You can either add the items to the “extras” box on our order page or call us on 01277 890883.  All our meat is butchered to order at our premises by one of AGAP’s experienced butchers and we usually need 5 days notice to process and prepare your order, but if you require a quicker delivery as we can often provide this so please call us to check. You can order your meat per pack or per kg.  We are also happy to discuss any special cuts or requirements you may have.

Minimum order value
For customers who have a regular veg box from us there is a minimum order value for meat of £20.00. If your meat order value is below £20.00 there is a £3.95 packing & delivery charge.
For customers who are ordering only meat there is a minimum order value of £40.00 for free delivery.  For orders under £40.00 there is a £3.95 packing & delivery charge.  So if you want to take advantage of free delivery at the lower minimum order value then why not order one of our lovely organic veg boxes at the same time.  We deliver our meat orders at the same time as our veg boxes so to see what day your meat delivery will be check out our delivery days page.
